Daughter of Joseph Goodenough and Clarissa (Eckler) Goodenough

"Rose Anna Aldrich, aged sixty-six, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Merton Kelty at Edmeston, Thursday morning, March 12th, after an illness of nearly a year. She was born at Middlefield, July 7, 1875, the daughter of Joseph and Clarissa Goodenough. Her childhood was spent in the vicinity of Cooperstown. On December 8, 1892, she was united in marriage with William E. Aldrich, who died in January, 1927. Surviving is the daughter above mentioned; one son, Leslie Aldrich, of Burlington Flats; and a sister, Mrs. E. A. Brightman of Gilbertsville and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from the Houk Funeral home, the Rev. Daniel J. Dunbar, pastor of the Baptist church, which the deceased attended, officiating.
