During World War I, the Lima Daily News (Lima, Allen County, Ohio) is full of articles about his five sons, all of whom were serving in the military.

Some time after 1920, he moved to Allen county Indiana.

After a photo request, I received the following response, "Cemetery office confirmed that this burial is unmarked".
