Funeral services for Mrs. L.F. Bennett, 82, widow of Dr. Lewis F. Bennett, Beloit, who died at a Racine hospital Sunday, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Congregational church at Milton. The Rev. Alfred Swan, Madison, will officiate. Friends may call at the Gray and Albrecht funeral home, Milton Junction, Monday evening.

Rebecca Alice Stockman was born on a farm near Janesville Dec. 11, 1862. She attended Milton College and taught in the Milton grade school before her marriage to Dr. Bennett May 6, 1886. For 22 years they lived in Beloit before moving to Spokane, Wash., in 1911, and 16 years they later to Denver, Colo. They returned to Beloit in 1928. Since 1930 she has resided in Rockton, Racine, and Madison.

Survivors are a son, Howard J. Bennett, Madison; and four grandchildren, Herbert L. Bennett, Pittsfield, Mass., Miss Elizabeth Bennett, art instructor at the Janesville high school, Ensign Howard D. Bennett, Norfolk, Va., and Lt. Donald H. Bennett, Madison.
