GRASSFLAT - Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Johnson Funeral Home in Grassflat for Mrs. Floyd Gustafson, a former resident of Cooper Township who died Sunday morning at Clearfield.
Rev. Dale Fleming will officiate and interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery at Grassflat.
Friends are being received at the funeral home until time of services.
Mrs. Gustafson was born in Sweden on January 19, 1879, and came to the United States when she was a young girl. The former Mary Bergius, she was married in Jamestown, N.Y., to Floyd Gustafson and lived in Cooper Township nearly all her life.
Preceded in death by her husband in August, 1953, she is survived by two sons and two daughters: Evald and Mrs. Astrid Welker, both of Meadville; Mrs. Ruth Curley, Morrisdale R.D.; and Carl, Kylertown; 10 grandchildren, a sister: Mrs. Hilda Johnson, Jamestown, N.Y.; and a half-sister: Mrs. Selma Eklund, Chicago.
