BORYS--Monday funeral for John Borys
Funeral rites for John Borys, 59, Rt. 4, Columbus, will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Catholic church, Duncan, with burial in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Richard Wolbach will officiate.
The body will lie in state at McKown funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday. Rosary will be prayed there at 7:30 p.m. Sunday by Holy Name society and 8 p.m., by relatives and friends.
Mr. Borys, a lifetime farmer in the Duncan vicinity, was born Sept. 14, 1907 at Duncan. He attended St. Stanislaus parochial school and was a member of the Holy Name society.
His parents, Stanislaus and Catherine Gembica Borys, and an infant brother preceded him in death.
Surviving are five brothers and five sisters, Casimir of Mukilteo, Wash.; Jim, Mrs. Ed (Victoria) Sliva and Mrs. Leo (Agnes) Kush, all of Omaha; Mrs. Joe (Mary) Dush and Mrs. Milton (Ange) Bray of Columbus; Louis, Leo, Frank and Clara, all at home.
