Chloe was a career girl long before the phrase was created. A schoolteacher in Kentucky for all of her life, she retired to St. Cloud, Florida to be closer to her brother and sister-in-law Newell and Elizabeth Browning Crockett and her sister Ruby Crockett Orme and brother-in-law Charles Orme who lived in nearby Orlando, Florida. She returned home to Kentucky upon her passing and is buried with her parents in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Robertson Co., Kentucky.
