Orpha Chesebro Chilton Times April 6, 1912

In The Times of last week a brief mention was made of the death of Mrs. Andrew Chesebro, which occurred at her home in South Stockbridge on Thursday morning, March 28th. Shortly after midnight Mrs. Chesebro informed her husband that she was not feeling well and half hour later a physician was summoned from Stockbridge. Everything possible was done for her relief but to no avail and she passed into the silent sleep of death.
Orpha Eliza Iggulden was born March 24, 1855 in Dodge County, this state where she resided some years and then moved with her parents to Vernon County. She was married in October 1875 to Andrew Chesebro and two years later came with him to Chilton and made their home on the Chesebro homestead in the northern section of the city. They remained there until 1906 when they moved to South Stockbridge. She was spoken of by those who knew her as an exemplary loving wife and mother, obliging neighbor and Christian woman.
The funeral was held on Sunday. The remains were laid at rest in the family lot in the Breed cemetery. She is survived by a husband, one son, Nicholas and two daughters, Mrs. Victor Denny and Miss Martha, also by one brother, Chas Iggulden of Gravesville.
