Dr. Campbell retired Dean of Agriculture at URI. Among Dr. Campbell's many accomplishments were many trips to Egypt in the early 1950's for the U.S. Agriculture department to assist in Egypt's development. Following his time in Egypt, Dr. Campbell traveled to South Korea to assist in their agricultural development. Dr. Campbell was a well known and well liked faculty member at URI who helped raise the funds to build Woodward Hall.
