Reverend Father Rudolph S. Kerch was an only child; born to Emil Wenzel & Josephine (Stangel) Kerch.

But that being said, this humble & devote "fisher of men" touched the lives of so many people during his 84 year walking among us. In researching the history of extended family members, more times than I can count I came across obituaries that included..."Rev. Rudoph Kerch celebrated a requiem high mass for the deceased." -or- something similar.

Ordained to the priesthood on 1 June 1940, Father Kerch served as an associate pastor in several parishes around the state. In July 1946, Bishop Bona appointed Father Rudolph Kerch as the eleventh resident pastor of Saint Lawrence Church, which was located in Stangelville, WI... a post he held for the next 38 years; faithfully serving the congregation through good times & bad!

After retirement from a life of service to others, Reverend Father Kerch lived in Green Bay for a few years. He is buried near his parents.
