Mrs. Chada was born Emma Hallada, Oct. 4, 1884, in the Town of Two Creeks, daughter of the late Anton and Anna Dufek Hallada. On June 16, 1903, she was married to Wenzel Zahorik at Tisch Mills and the couple farmed in the Town of Gibson. Mr. Zahorik died Jan. 31, 1931. She then was married to Adolph Chada Oct. 4, 1947 at Manitowoc, remaining here
since that time.
She was a member of the Altar Society of Sacred Heart Church, Manitowoc, and St. Mary Church at Tisch Mills, and the ZCBJ Lodge 360 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband; a son in Two Rivers; three daughters, a brother in Miami, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
