WENCEL FICTUM

Wenzel Fictum, 83, well-known retired farmer who of late years has been making his home with his brother, Steve, on the homestead farm near Stangelville, died at the Two Rivers hospital last night. He had been a patient since Tuesday when he was taken ill while visiting with a daughter at Manitowoc.
The body may be viewed at the Klein and Stangel Inc. funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic church in Tisch Mills, and burial will be in the church cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Born in Bohemia in 1862, Wenzel Fictum came to this country with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fictum, and the family settled on a farm near Stangelville. He married Miss Catherine Wondrash and the couple took up their home on a farm near Denmark. The wife preceded him in death, and he has lived a retired life for many years, spending the last few years with his brother on the old homestead.
Survivors are two sons, Albert, Denmark, and James, Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. John Aulik, Manitowoc, Mrs. Edward Pelishek, Sr., Denmark, and Miss Rose, Green Bay; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and the brother, Steve.

Funeral services for Wenzel Fictum, 83, well-known retired farmer, who d be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tisch Mills, the Rev. John Rous officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Fictum resided on the farm of his brother Steve, in Stangelville.
The body may be viewed at the Klein & Stangel, Inc., Funeral Home in Two Rivers from 7 p.m. Saturday until time of service. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
