Tisch Mills News:
On Saturday last the late Joseph Fictum of Stangelville was buried in the St. Mary's cemetery. Rev. Cipin officiated.
Mr. Fictum was a native of Bohemia who came to this country and settled on a farm near Stangelville about 65 years ago. He is survived by many relatives and friends who mourn his death. The deceased died Thursday morning and was 94 years old. He died of old age.

Another one of Franklin's pioneers is dead. Jos. Fictum died at the home of his son, Wenzel, last Thursday after an illness of about a month's duration. He was 95 years of age. Up to the time of his illness he was healthy and hearty and took long walks every day. He is survived by three sons, Wenzel, John and Stephen and one daughter, Mrs. Valenta, all residing in the town of Franklin.
Also thirty grandchildren, forty four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. The funeral was held Saturday from St. Mary's Catholic church at Tisch Mills with interment in the adjoining cemetery. May his soul rest in peace.
