Debbra Olivia Pregler Chiatello, 48, of Murrayville, died at 3:05 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at her residence after a brave battle with lung cancer.

She was born in Carrollton on April 25, 1964, and was the daughter of the late Curtiss and Marian Wehrly Pregler.

Debbra grew up in Kane, and attended Jersey Community High School in Jerseyville. She married Jody Jerome Chiatello on Oct. 31, 2003, in Winchester, and he survives.

Also surviving are her four children, Wayne Tucker Jr. of Murrayville, Shellee Tucker of Jacksonville, Amanda Cathcart of Murrayville and Douglas Cathcart of Jacksonville; six grandchildren; four sisters; and four brothers.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. today until time of funeral services at 6 p.m.,Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Kane United Methodist Church in Kane. Burial will immediately follow at the Kane Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to her family in care of Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville who is in charge of the arrangements.
