Claude F. Herr, 51, of 246 Peach Bottom Road, Willow Street, died today at 6 a.m. in the General Hospital after an illness of two months. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a sheet metal worker in the maintenance department of Armstrong Cork Co. for 24 years. Born in Lancaster, a son of Ross Herr and the late Jesse Funk Herr, he resided at his present address five years, and was a member of Otterbein Evangelical United Brethren Church. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Fitzgerald Herr, two daughters, Dorothy H., wife of Robert Ritter, and Charlotte H., wife of Richard P. Drenner Jr., both of Lancaster; four grandchildren, his father, of Lancaster; two sisters and a brother, Beulah, wife of Carl Brinkman, Robert F., and Marguerite, wife of J.
