Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ann Little, 84, were held from the Little home in the Cottonwood Community Monday morning, January 13, at 10 o'clock.

Mrs. Little died at her home Sunday morning, January 12, at 2 o'clock as the result of a heart attack. She was 84 yers of age and was born in Tennessee on April 9, 1851. For the past 19 years she has been a resident of Collingsworth County and during that time acquired many friends who mourn her passing. Mrs. Little was a member of the Methodist Church, and had innumerable friends in the county, especially in the Cottonwood Community where she was widely known for her kindness and friendliness.

She is survived by five sons, Hiram Little and Charley Little of Cottonwood; Raymon Little of Quanah, Simpson Little of Wellington and A. A. Little of Yule, OK; three daughters: Mrs. Lucy Scruggs of Council Bluff, Iowa, Mrs. Dolly Mark of Kansas City, and Mrs. Annie Sims of Amarillo; also 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
