MELBA KINER MORTON
Memorial services were at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 1992 at Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha for Melba Masheter Kiner Morton, 73, formerly of Sabetha. She died December 5, 1991 in Tucson, Arizona.

Mrs. Morton was born May 24, 1918, in Sabetha, the daughter of Paul and Jeanette Williamson Masheter. She grew up in Sabetha, graduated from Sabetha High School in 1936 and attended Emporia State College.

She had lived in Honolulu, Hawaii before she moved to Tucson, Arizona.

Mrs. Morton was preceded in death by two husbands, John Kiner and Don Morton.

Survivors include two sons, John Kiner of Honolulu, Hawaii and Kent Kiner of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Judy Rehkow of Coto de Caza, Calif.; a sister, Esther Carpenter of Sabetha; a brother, Clyde Masheter of Mission; and four grandchildren.

Burial was in Sabetha Cemetery.
