Jeanette M. Magner, 80, of Peoria passed away at 10:39 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Methodist Medical Center.
Jeanette was born on June 30, 1932, in Peoria to Olive and Ethel (McDonald) Jackson. She married Leonard Magner on Sept. 16, 1950, in Peoria. He passed away March 14, 2003, in Peoria.
Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Beverly Thomas and several brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Kirk) Stimeling-Jibben of Galesburg; one grandson, Kevin Stimeling of Galesburg; her sisters, Emily (Greg) Shotsburger of East Peoria and Dorothy (Bob) McLanghlin of Peoria; and her brothers, Eugene Jackson of California and Freddy Jackson of Texas.
Jeanette worked in the bottling department at Hiram Walker for many years.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012, at Lutheran Cemetery. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
