MANTECA, CA - Helen S. Young, 99, of Manteca, CA, died at 1:45 am, Thursday, June 28, 2012 at her residence. She was born July 5, 1912 in Springfield, IL to William J. and Mary Morton Snyders. She married Darl A. Young on January 31, 1932 and he preceded her in death on February 15, 1983. Her parents, one daughter, Mary Helen Olmsted and one son, William Young preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters, Carole Ann (Joseph) Delmanowski of Manteca, CA, Nancy Klemm of St. Charles, MO.; Susan (Richard) Deweese of Springfield, IL; one son, Darl E. (Victoria) Young of Springfield, IL. 104 grandchildren; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Helen was a homemaker and a former member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She has been a resident of Manteca, CA since 2006.
Visitation: 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Church.
Funeral Mass: 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Church with Reverend Jeff Grant officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
