Mrs. Eloise Bonds Strickland, age 90, of Buchanan passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016.
Mrs. Strickland was born in Cedartown, Georgia on November 7, 1925. She was the daughter of the late J.K. Bonds and the late Lena Leatherwood Bonds. She worked for fifty years at Arrow Shirt Company in Buchanan.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlin Strickland; one sister, Betty Jo Robertson; and one brother, William Bonds.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law; one son and daughter-in-law; two granddaughters and their husbands; four great grandchildren; four sisters and one brother-in-law; one brother and sister-in-law; and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday June 27, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Danny Hutcheson officiating. Music will be rendered by Amanda and Jeremy Holcombe and Olen, Helen and Willard Walker.
Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery in Buchanan.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
