George Michael Rudolph was born in Leichtling, Saratov Russia, the son of Peter Rudolf, who was born in 1850.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for George Michael Rudolph, 81, 1609 Atchison, who died Thursday in a Topeka hospital.

He was born July 12, 1884 at Saratov, Russia.

He lived in Argentina from 1903 until 1912 when he moved to Topeka. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He worked for Santa Fe Railway before he retired July 12, 1962,in his last job of storekeeper.

He and his wife, Anna were married Sept. 21, 1909, in Argentina.

Besides his wife, survivors include four sons, John Rudolph, of the home, Leo Rudolph, 409 Burr, Edward Rudolph, 444 Emmett, and George Rudolph Jr., 206 Grattan; two daughters, Rose Rudolph, South Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. Anna Gettler, La Puente, Calif.; two brothers, Peter Rudolph and Godfrey Rudolph, both of San Pablo, Argentina; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Rudolph will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Brennan Funeral Home where parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
