Davey - G. Selden, 87, Lincoln, died Sunday (3/23/97). Retired underwriting vice president, Woodmen Accident & Life Co., 38 years. Member, Westminster Presbyterian Church; American Legion Post 3. Past president, Lincoln Country Club. Graduate, University of Nebraska, 1932; Phi Kappa Phi Fraternity; UNL "N" Club, basketball, 1930; All Big 8 basketball player. Lincoln High "L" Club, basketball, 1926. Active in several insurance organizations.

Survivors: sons, daughters-in-law, Robert and Darlene, Issaquah, Wash., William and Cindy, Lincoln; daughter, son-in-law, Marilyn "Marti" and Torre Lessor, Tempe, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, Helen; parents.

Memorial service: 3 p.m. Thursday, Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2110 Sheridan Blvd. The Rev. William C. Yeager. Burial: 2 p.m. Thursday, Lincoln Memorial Park. Cremation. No visitation.
