His parents were Mary Jane Tully and Robert Samuel Almany. Survived by wife Stella (nee Dunker) Almany. Also survived by children Tom, David, Bill, Jim and Tim. Further survived by 13 grandchildren.
His siblings had been Robert Joe, Olive Potter, and an infant sister.
