Norma was the daughter of Ivin and Elizabeth Ann Ririe Hoggan, born April 12, 1931 in Burley, Idaho. Married to Ronald Leo Prestwich in Idaho Falls, ID. on August 26, 1958. They lived in Idaho Falls until 1970 when they moved to Bellevue, WA. Together they have four children, R. Lynn, Susan (Steve) Flinchbaugh, Marie (Mike) Smith, and Robert (Mary), 14 grand children, 3 great-grandchildren.
Norma was a school teacher in her early life. She was able to be at home while raising her children and was a great mother and homemaker. She worked at NY Bagel Boys during the 1980's, and later at CMS Casuals until her retirement in 1996. In 2005, she moved to Auburn to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
Norma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various areas of the church her entire life. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Ron. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 6-8pm at Price Helton Funeral Chapel, 702 Auburn Way N, Auburn, WA. Funeral servic es will be held on Wednesday, March 24th, at 11:00am, with a viewing one hour prior at the LDS Chapel, 1820 F St SE, Auburn. Interment at 2:30pm at Cedar Lawns Memorial Park, 7200 180th Ave NE, Redmond, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the LDS Perpetual Education Fund (www.ldsphilanthropies.org).
