Aaron Paul Isham, Park Hill resident, died Monday July 9, 2012 at his home. He was 68 years of age. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday July 11, 2012 in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Lisa Sowers officiating, assisted by Bro. Sam England. Interment will follow in the Reese Cemetery in Stilwell. Arrangements are under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. Aaron was born September 15, 1943 in Hominy, OK the son of Lynn and Mary Eleanor (Watt) Isham. He was a graduate of Sequoyah High School. He received his college degree from Sacramento State College in Sacramento, CA. He was also a graduate of the Professional Investigators School in Los Angeles, CA. He served in the United States Army receiving his Honorable Discharge following over 20 years of service. While in the Army he was stationed in Germany, Viet Nam and Korea. Following his retirement he joined the Vahijo Police Dept in California. He later joined the National Bail Enforcement as a professional licensed bounty hunter, retiring in 2000. Aaron enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Lawrence Smith, Clarence Smith, Leroy Carpenter and Junior Carpenter and sisters Rosie Burton, Connie York and Jessie Copeland. Surviving are his wife Naomi Keys-Isham of the home; two children, John Paul Isham and fiancé Crystal Drebing, of San Francisco, CA, Sharon Pauline Sumter and husband Christopher, of Danville, CA and a special nephew Dallas Pettigrew of Park Hill, OK; his twin sister Shaaron Butler of Muskogee; three grandchildren, Carson and Logan Sumter and Tristen Cardosi; many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
