Randy Joe "Dynamite" Davis, 45, Bonner Springs, died Saturday, May 20, 2006. Visitation was Friday at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home with a "Remembrance Service." The family requests donations to the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home to help with the cost of the services.

Mr. Davis was born April 27, 1961, in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in Bonner Springs and graduated from Basehor High School in 1981. He promoted boxing and was a two-time Kansas City Toughman Champion and went on to train others who also became champions. In his professional fighting career he was 38 and 2. He owned and operated Dynamites Fitness Center in Bonner Springs. He taught martial arts and boxing to all ages at several locations in the Kansas City area.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors include his brother, Kevin Lee Davis, Bonner Springs; a nephew, Kevin Lee Davis Jr.; a niece, Jodie Marie Davis; a grand-niece, Lilly Marie Davis; half-brothers Gary Wayne Davis, Osceola, Mo.; and Michael Woodard, Fresno, Calif.; half-sisters Lisa Woodard and Amber Woodard, both of Fresno, Calif.; and Belinda Kay Davis, Independence, Mo.; an aunt, Joanne Smith, and her husband, Sherman, Independence, Mo.; and an uncle, Bob Davis, Topeka.
