Yvonne (Bonnie) Ascher, 80, Green Bay, died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at a local nursing home. Born in Cicero, Illinois on December 4, 1931 she is the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Urban) Fara. Bonnie married Francis Cecil Ascher June 14, 1952 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo and he preceded her in death September 27, 2001. Bonnie was the Religious Education Coordinator at Saints Peter and Paul Parish for many years. She enjoyed stamp collecting, geneology, watching Turner classic movies and times spent with family.

Survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Donald and MaryBeth Ascher of Breed, Daniel and Susan Ascher of Sobieski; one daughter: Linda Ascher of Green Bay; two grandchildren: Erik (Terri Jo) Ascher and Lief (Carrie) Ascher; two great grandchildren: Scarlet and Drake Ascher; two brothers-in-law: Dewaine (Charlotte) Ascher of Green Bay, Frank (Betty) Ascher of Waukesha; three sisters-in-law: Carolyn Ascher of Green Bay, June Ascher of Illinois, and Donna Ascher of Sheboygan; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her husband - Francis Cecil; parents; one sister: Judy (Dan) De Braske, many brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law.

Friends may call at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, from 9am Thursday until the time of the funeral. Funeral Thursday 11am at Saints Peter and Paul Church with Father Anthony Cirignani, OFM officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
