Oma "Sis" Corder, 88, of Russellville died Sunday, August 15, 2004, in a Russellville hospital.
Born March 17, 1916, at Hawes to Jefferson and Burley Lynch Brown, she was a cosmetology instructor and member of Hot Springs Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, O. S. Corder; one son, Jack Corder; and three brothers, Lewis Brown, Delbert Brown and Thomas "Bud" Brown.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Bonnie Beckwith of Hot Springs, Betty and Lynn Wilson of Gonzales, Texas, and Brenda and Ruddy Short of Russellville; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
The service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hot Springs, with the Rev. Lynn Wilson officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Andrew M. Monfee and St. Mary's Regional Medical Center fourth floor east staff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hot Springs Baptist Church Senior Activities.
