Martha/Mattie was one of eight children born to Samuel Silas Warner and Mary Isabelle Martin.

By 1900 the family had moved to Mead, Belmont County, Ohio where she married Lewis David Rathbun, August 23, 1902. They had six children.

Family lived in Moundsville, Marshall County, WV and then Pekin, Tazewell, Illinois. On Lewis David's 1942 WW II Draft Registration, living in Wilmington, Will, Illinois, his employer was Dupont Powder Co in Joliet, Ill.


After her husband's death in 1955, Illinois, she moved back to Monroe County, Ohio.
