Marnie was the beloved eldest daughter of Melville and Marion Finlayson. Marnie was born in Chicago, but grew up in Elmhurst, Illinois. Marnie's treasured siblings include: Melville Duncan, Jane Constance, John Douglas, Helen Estelle, Nancy Ellen, James Philo (Donald), Dorothy Ethel and Margaret Martha. Marnie married Douglas McKee on February 14, 1942. They had a beautiful daughter, Charlotte Patricia. Marnie is buried next to her sister, Helen Estelle Finlayson, and her maternal grandparents, John and Charlotte Grace Nichols Cornelius.
