Harvey G. Allen, 73, of 205 W. Maple, Shepherd, died Sunday at his home.
He was born on April 24, 1894 in Shepherd.
He was a retired employee of Lobdell-Emery in Alma and had worked at the grain elevator.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Garber Funeral Home in Shepherd with Rev. Lester Priest officiating. Burial will be in the Salt River Cemetery in Shepherd.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Vinton of Birch Run, Mrs. Dorothy Goward of Alma and Mrs. Matilda Virsteen of Pompeii. Also surviving are two brothers, Ben Allen of Flint and R.B. Allen of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Inbody of Chula Vista, Calif.; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
