Chippewa Falls - George L. Flug, 62, 1033 Stanley Street, died today at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls [Wisconsin].

He was born in Eagle Point and married Jeanne M. Ryan March 5, 1946. An electrician by trade, he had recently been in electrical sales with Hobbs Supply, Eau Claire. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served with the Army Air Corps.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Maureen Friedeck, Minneapolis; one sister, Leona Bromeisl, Chippewa Falls; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Notre Dame Church, Chippewa Falls, with burial in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.

Friends may call 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls. A Christian vigil service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
