She also worked in the shipyards during World War II, for Best Ever Doughnuts and for Fred Meyer. She was a member of the Lents and Tabernacle Seventh-day Adventist churches and served at one time as head deaconess. She married John Maynor on Feb. 2, 1946. Arrangements: Wilhelm Funeral Home.
