Willie G. Allison, 75, of Deming died Thursday August 19, 1999 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Willie was born on January 28th, 1924 in Dwyer, New Mexico to Willie Baca Allison and Monica Gomez. He served in the U.S Navy throughout World War II from October 5th 1942 - August 5 1948. He married Shirley Baeza in 1947. He was a flotation operator at Phelps Dodge for many years. He is survived by his wife, son's Willie B. Allison, Frank B. Allison, David B. Allison, and Thomas B. Allison, one brother, Lorenzo Allison, four sisters, Nora Allison, Rosie Allison Gallegos, Margaret Allison Maldonado, and Virginia Allison. He is preceded in death by his parents, son John Allison, and sister Mary Pena. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Baca's Funeral Chapel, with prayer vigil at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Ann's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Frank Allison, Matthew Allison, David Allison, and Andrew Allison, and Raymond Diaz.
