HYNDMAN - Mrs. Barbara E. Leydig, 81, of RD 1, Hyndman, died at her home yesterday following a lengthy illness. Born May 28, 1881, at Buck Valley near Hancock, Md., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Crawford) Deneen. She was twice married, both husbands, Samuel Kiser and Henry Leydig, preceding her in death. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Surviving are seven children, Albert W. Kiser, Mrs. Grace Grenke, Mrs. Lillian Emerick, all of Hyndman; Mrs. Mae Bryant, Mrs. Bertha Sisler, both of Baltimore; Mrs. Anna Burkett, Wellersburg; John R. Kiser, Pleasantville, Pa.; two brothers, Jonas Deneen and Samuel Deneen, both of Hyndman; 32 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the residence after 2 p. m. tomorrow and at the Zeigler Funeral Home here from noon until 2 p. m. Tuesday. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Evans officiating. Interment will be in Hyndman Cemetery.
