BLUE RIVER - Everett W. Persinger, age 74, of Excelsior passed away Tuesday, September 13, 1977, at his home suddenly of an apparent heart attack. He was the son of Oscar H. and Lena Persinger. He was married to Myra Morgan, and they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on August 28, 1977. Surviving is his wife, Myra; three sons, Robert of Lone Rock, Lloyd and Douglas both of Richland Center; five daughters, Viola Glass and Mrs. Harold (Elinor) Strined both of Lone Rock, Mrs. George (Audrey) Hobbs, Jr. of Rt. 1 Richland Center, Mrs. Leroy (Patricia) Burns of Orfordville, Mrs. John (Sharon) Hernan of Blue River; his stepfather, Wilbur Stetler of Muscoda; two sisters, Mrs. Glen (Elma) Randall of Boscobel, and Mrs. Ethel Anthony of Green Bay; 22 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons and one daughter. Funeral services will be Friday, September 16 at 2 p.m. at the BASSWOOD CHURCH in rural Muscoda. Burial will be in the Basswood Cemetery. Visitation will be at the GODAGER FUNERAL HOME in Blue River after 5p.m. on Thursday and at the church on Friday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
