Elaine D. Fuller, 56, died at her residence on August 10, 2004. She is survived by her sons, Michael I. Fuller of Charlottesville, and 2nd Lt. Andrew A. Fuller of Ft. Benning, Ga.; and Michael's fiancé, Ms. Cristina T. Kesler of Charlottesville. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Miriam D. Dougherty of Hilton Head, S.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Diane Dougherty of Atlanta, Ga. She was preceded in death by her father, the late Col. Jack D. Dougherty. Elaine was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Richmond, Va., where she was active in the Single's Ministry. For the past 12 months, Elaine fought a courageous battle against cancer. She will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2004 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Chapel, Monument Ave, Richmond, Va. Rev. Ralph Starling, officiating. Interment private.
