CLOVIS, N.M. - Raymond "Ray" L. Self, 88, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in The Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Salguero officiating. Burial will be in Texico Cemetery in Texico by Muffley Funeral Home.
Mr. Self married Nellie B. Billington on March 21, 1954, in Clovis. He retired as an engineer for civil service at Cannon Air Force Base.
Survivors include five daughters, Carol Smith of Allen, Texas, Robin Williams of Briggs, Texas, Sharon Douglas and Mary Nay, both of Clovis, and Peggy Austin of Alamogordo; three sons, Leon O'Brien and Gene Felty, both of Clovis and Benton Felty of Libby, Mont.; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Self and Arlie Self, both of Monton, Texas; and three sisters, Beatsie Dupler of Maple, Texas, Laura Warton of White Settlement, Texas, and Gertrude Stewart of Hemet, Calif.
