Preceded in death by two sons-Benny and Tim Choate, and 1 brother Martin. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Nell Strong Choate, daughter Belinda Bunch, son in law Clinton Bunch; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild: Crystal, Joshua, Jordan, Brittany and Emma Bunch, and Flynn Choate; daughter in law, Madalyn Choate, sister Anna Beth Stites and brother Odes Choate, sister-in-law Peggy Tilory and other family and friends. Navy Veteran of World War II & the Korean War. Founded Modern Tile Company in 1955. Life-long, faithful servant of Christ, serving as an elder for 25 years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
