Joe "Max" Allgood, age 81 of Loganville, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012.
Retired from the United States Air Force, Security Service with the Rank of Senior Master Sergeant and a member of First Baptist Church of Loganville, Mr. Allgood served multi-terms as Councilman for the City of Loganville and was a member of the Fergus Masonic Lodge # 135 F & AM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Beth Allgood, parents, Josiah & Frances Allgood, 3 grandchildren, Jason Dale Chadwick, Adam Allgood, Bradley Allgood and brother, John N. Allgood.
Mr. Allgood is survived by his children: Keith & Donna Allgood of Lawrenceville; Bruce & Wanda Allgood of Loganville. Grandchildren: Jason Allgood of Kennesaw; Stephanie Allgood, Ellijay; great Grandson: Wesley Chadwick of Ellijay; aunts, Doris McCarty, Dorothy Van Lear, uncle: Gene Needham; Beloved Dog: Gracie; many cousins and other relatives.
