WEBER CITY, Va. — Sally S. Chandler, 95, died at her residence at 7:40 p.m. Sunday [8/3/1975] after a short illness.
She was born in Wise County. Va. and had lived in Weber City, Va. for the past 39 years. She was a member of the Cracker's Neck Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Hobert Chandler, and Judge Chandler, both of Kingsport; three daughters, Mrs. Maggie Stewart, Kingsport, Mrs. Velma Jones, Osaka, Va., and Mrs. Ann Ward, Weber City, Va.; two brothers, Carr and John Shupe, both of Big Stone Gap; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Warren Funeral Home is in charge.

Funeral services for Sally S. Chandler will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Warren Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Blessing, the Rev. Bascomb Dickenson and the Rev. Dean Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Gilley Cemetery near East Stone Gap. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Monday. Warren Funeral Home in Weber City is in charge of arrangements.
