Devona Nicole Boyd, 19, of Meadowbrook Road, Stanford, died Saturday at her home.
Born Aug. 31, 1985, in Lexington, she was the daughter of David and Debbie Brown Boyd of Stanford. She was a senior at Lincoln County High School and an employee of Dairy Queen. She was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church.Other survivors include a half sister, Sheila Dealy of Peoria, Ill; a half brother, John R. Boyd of Peoria; grandparents, Virginia Brown and James W. Boyd, both of Stanford; and a step-grandfather, James Anderson of Stanford.Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. She died Saturday at her home.Pallbearers will be C.W. Gay, and Todd, Larry, Terry, Shane and Steve Boyd.Honorary pallbearers are Doris Day, Samantha Yocum, Donna Baker and Christine Wadell.
