Sept. 13, 1924 - July 2, 2012 PIEDMONT Wanda Levell, age 87, of Piedmont, OK, passed away July 2, 2012. She was born to James Moses & Lois Drucilla Barber on September 13, 1924 in Memphis, TX. She was a housewife to her husband of 49 years, James Goergen. She was an awesome mother to Herman Leon Ashlock and Brenda Asbell. Wanda was the most amazing grandmother to James, Dewayne, Tony, Bobby, Brandon, Brian and Bailey. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Asbell and 3 grandchildren Brandon, Brian, and Bailey Asbell; her daughter-in-law, Erma Ashlock and 4 grandchildren, James, Dewayne, Tony and Bobby Ashlock; two sisters, Betty Johnson and Allene Barber; two sisters-in-law, Doris Barber and Pauline Barber; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, 2 brothers and one sister. Services will be held 10:00am Thursday July 5, 2012 at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Garden's Garden of the Apostles, 500 SW 104, OKC.
