Mrs. Lillie Mae (Hodges) Meredith, 70, of Route 1, Olla, Winn Parish, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Vaudie Kelly, of Olla, Tuesday morning after an illness of about a year.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Beech Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. B. B. Cox officiating, assisted by the Rev. W. A. Massey. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of a funeral home in Columbia.
Survivors are her husband, R. S. Meredith, Winn Parish; three daughters, Mrs. Vaudie Kelly, Olla, Mrs. Audie Boyett and Mrs. Ava Boyett, Fort Seward, Calif.; three sons, Cecil S. Meredith, Olla, Avery Meredith and Heartsol Meredith, Sr., both of Urania; and 17 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Walter Meredith, Dalton Meredith, Heartsol Meredith, Jr., James Meredith, Billy Boyett, and Paul Brewer.
