HODGDON - Alice May passed away in Cardston on Wednesday, February 9th, 1977 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Jerome O. Hodgdon. Mrs. Hodgdon was born February 12th, 1894 in Milan, New Hampshire. She married in 1910 and came to Alberta to Cardston area where they farmed and ranched. She continued to reside there until the time of her passing. She like to do handicraft and was noted for her quilting.

She is survived by nine children, Iola Clarke of Edmonton, Lawrence Hodgdon of Cutbank, Montana, Mrs. Warren (Rachel) Clarke of Fort Vermilion, Raymond Hodgdon of Whiskey Gap, Richard Hodgdon of Cutbank, Montana, Mrs. Ernest (Leah) Alcanter of Sacramento, California, Mrs. William (Marion) McCameley of Calgary, Mrs. Don (Carol) Gruninger of Magrath and Mrs. Mike (Faye) Gruninger of Whiskey Gap. 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Jerome in December, 1949 and one son Morris in 1968.

Requiem mass will be celebrated in the Catholic Church of the Immaculate Heart in Cardston on Monday, February 14th, 1977 at 11:00 a.m. with Father P. Poulin as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Cardston Cemetery. Prayers will be said in the salmon Funeral Home, Cardston on Sunday, February 13th, 1977 at 7:30 p.m. SALMON FUNERAL HOME, Cardston, Directors of Funeral Service. C645
