Sister Clement Marie Heidrick

CONCORDIA - Sister Clement Marie Heidrick, 91, Concordia, died Monday, Dec. 13, 1993, at St. Mary's Convent, Concordia. Sister Clement Marie was born Anna Heidrick on July 24, 1902, at Beloit. She entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1922 and took final vows as a nun in 1927. She taught in Catholic schools in Salina, Walker, Park and Concordia and was an assistant instructor in the music department at Marymount College for 35 years. She specialized in piano and organ and did liturgical work at the Sacred Heart Cathedral. In 1982 she retired to Medaille Center in Salina and continued to serve as an organist at the Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Survivors include a brother, Edward Heidrick of Beloit; and a sister, Margaret of Beloit.

A wake service will be at 6:30 p.m. today at the Nazareth Convent Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the convent, the Rev. Larry Grennan officiating. Burial will be in Nazareth Cemetery. The Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home Chapel, 325 W. Sixth, Concordia, 66901, is in charge of arrangements.
