Winnie Mae Sparks of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Ellis and Ruby (Jones) Baker on February 28, 1933 in Byars, Oklahoma and passed from this life on July 2, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years.

Winnie grew up and attended school in Bethel, Oklahoma and Whiteflat, Texas.

She married Jack O. Sparks in Sulphur, Oklahoma on October 19, 1949 and together they made their home in California and Oregon.

In 2004, Winnie moved to Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Rock Hound Club and the Gospel Assembly Church in Oregon. In her spare time she enjoyed collecting rocks, making jewelry, and belt buckles. Winnie was a great story teller and also was the family photographer.

Brother: Calvin Baker and wife Lorene of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
2 sisters: Vergie Courtney of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma
Georgia Wilson and husband Glen of Maysville, Oklahoma
A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Extended family: Wayne and Sharon McDonald and children of Flagstaff, Arizona
