Norman Brantmeier

Norman J. Brantmeier, 66, of 211 E. Main St., Chilton, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, where he had been a patient for a week.

Born in the Town of Harrison on March 8, 1906, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna Vollmer Brantmeier. He married the former Alice O'Donnell on May 27, 1930 at St. Mary Catholic Church at Stockbridge.

The couple farmed in the Town of Harrison for 16 years and in the Town of Rantoul for 19 years, moving to Chilton Six years ago. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1288.

Survivors include his widow; three daughters, Mrs. John (Lorriane) Koehler of Brillion, Mrs. Lloyd (Doris Hitsman Jr. of Howards Grove and Mrs. Jerome (Betty) Neils of Kiel; and two sons,Eugene of Chilton adn Lester of R. 1, HOrican; 16 grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert and Jerome, both of Sherwood and two sisters, Mrs. Ray Utchig of Appleton and Mrs. Math Baer of Hilbert. A brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Chilton the Rev. John Murphy, pastor, celebrant of the requiem Mass.
