Funeral services for J.L. "Bud" Collins, 80, prominent Christian county farmer, who died Tuesday morning at his home southwest of Ozark following a lengthy illness, will be held at 2:00 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Selmore Christian church. Burial will be in the Selmore cemetery under direction of the Chaffin Funeral Home of Ozark. A complete obituary will be available for publication next week.

Funeral services for Joseph Lincoln "Bud" Collins, 80, widely known Christian county farmer, who died at his home southwest of Ozark on June 9, were held last Friday, June 11, at 2:00 o'clock in Selmore Christian church, conducted by Rev. Mahaney, with burial in Selmore cemetery under direction of the Chaffin Funeral Home of Ozark. Mr. Collins was born on the farm where he spent his entire life. He was united in marriage to Ella Smith in 1898 and to this union were born two children, Mrs. Claude Hanks of Selmore and Raymond Collins, who lives on an adjoining farm. Other survivors include nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Collins was the last survivor of a pioneer Christian county family of nine children. He was a successful farmer and business man and made many lasting friendships.
