Rutherford B. (Ruff) Sherman was born September 24, 1876 at Clear Creek, Kansas; son of James E. and Joanna (Williams) Sherman. He depared this life on March 12, 1961 in Eureka. He spent most of his life in Greenwood County, in and near Hamilton. He was the last survivor of a family of seven. He leaves to mourn his passing several neices and nephews; and other relatives and host of friend. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. R. F. Schaechtle. Was held from the Baird Funerall Home on Tuesday, March 14, 2:00 p.m. Interment was in Rockyford Cemetery Neal.
