Mrs. Pauline Russ
Corning -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church here for Mrs. Pauline Wilhelm Russ, 83, Paola, who died Sunday in a rest home in Paola. She had been in a rest home in Seneca earlier.
She was born Dec. 18, 1893, at Lindsay, Neb., the daughter of Joe and Mary Wilhelm. She spent most of her life in Kelly and Corning communities in Nemaha County. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Corning.
She was married to George C. Russ Aug. 11, 1914. He died in 1956.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Oliver G. Russ, Manhattan; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Mohringer, Circleville and Mrs. Alice Hauldren, Paola; six brothers, Frank Wilhelm, Effingham, Vincent Wilhelm, and Ambrose Wilhelm, both at Seneca, Cyril Wilhelm, Horton, and John Wilhelm and Leo Wilhelm, both at Wichita; a sister, Mrs. Modesta Holthaus, Axtell, and a granddaughter.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery at Corning. Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lauer Funeral Home at Seneca.
